Every place Trypn recommends comes from a real source. If we can’t match something properly, we keep it as an idea instead of guessing.
Where places come from
A recommended place begins with a place service, an official listing or something you added yourself. Trypn can help shape a day, but it can’t invent a venue. An unmatched idea stays clearly marked as an idea.
What the marks mean
- Place checked — a named source stands behind the details, with the date it was checked.
- You added this — it came from you, and Trypn treats it as your word.
- Still an idea — something you want to do that hasn’t been matched to a place yet.
- Last confirmed… — the information is real but may have aged. Check before you go.
- Couldn't confirm — Trypn tried and failed. It says so instead of guessing.
Opening times
Opening hours change constantly, so Trypn checks them in the moment and never stores them. That's why a plan can say a place looked open when it was checked, and still tell you to confirm.
Something wrong?
Use "Report a wrong detail" anywhere you see it. A person reads it. Trypn never rewrites a sourced fact because of a report on its own.
